Please read these terms carefully before using our loan matching service.

1) Loan Terms: APR, Repayment & Fees

1.1 APR Range

The Annual Percentage Rate ("APR") is the yearly cost of borrowing expressed as a percentage and may include both interest and certain eligible fees.

APR ranges for financial products you may access through the Extra Life mobile application (the "App") can be up to 35%. The APR you are offered depends on several factors, including (but not limited to):

  • Your credit profile and credit history
  • The amount you request
  • The repayment term
  • Applicable state laws and regulations
  • The specific underwriting criteria of the lender making the offer

You will always be shown the final APR and key cost information for any product before you accept an offer. Extra Life requires its lending partners to disclose pricing in accordance with all applicable federal and state consumer-protection laws.

1.2 Repayment Periods

Repayment terms vary by lender and product. Typical repayment periods range from approximately 3 months (about 90 days) up to 24 months (2 years).

Some offers may have shorter or longer repayment terms if allowed under applicable law. Prior to entering into any agreement, you will receive a repayment schedule that clearly states the number of payments, the amount of each payment, and the due dates for each payment.

1.3 Payment Frequency & Methods

Payments are generally made in fixed, scheduled installments on predetermined dates. Depending on the lender and product, payments may be weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, or monthly.

Repayments are typically made by electronic transfer (ACH debit) from your verified bank account, though some lenders may offer additional payment methods. The specific payment options will be described in your individual agreement with the lender.

You are responsible for ensuring that there are sufficient funds in the designated account on each due date to avoid late fees, returned payment fees, or other charges permitted by law.

1.4 Fees & Other Charges

Any potential fees associated with your offer—such as origination fees, late payment fees, returned payment or NSF charges, or expedited funding or transfer fees (if offered)—will be clearly disclosed before you accept the offer. Extra Life and its partners comply with all applicable federal and state rules that limit or regulate fees.

There are no hidden fees. You will always have an opportunity to review the total cost of credit, including all interest and fees, before you agree to a loan or cash advance.

1.5 Early Repayment

In many cases, products available through the App allow you to pay off your balance early without a prepayment penalty. Paying off your obligation ahead of schedule may reduce the overall amount of interest you pay.

Because policies vary by lender and state, you should review your specific agreement to confirm how early payoff is handled and whether any additional conditions apply.

1.6 Example Cost Disclosures

Before you finalize any loan or cash advance, you will receive a standardized cost disclosure (such as a Truth-in-Lending-style disclosure or an equivalent summary). This document will clearly outline APR, finance charges, total amount of all payments, and number of payments and due dates.

You should review this disclosure carefully, as it reflects the legally binding cost and repayment structure of the product you are choosing.

2) Your Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding contract between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Extra Life LLC ("Extra Life," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Extra Life mobile application, website (brickofmoney.com), and related services (together, the "App").

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the App, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state of residence).
  • You are a lawful resident of the United States.
  • You are able to enter into legally binding agreements under applicable state and federal law.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App immediately.

If we update these Terms, your continued use of the App after the changes become effective will mean that you accept the updated Terms.

3) Purpose of the App & Service Overview

The Extra Life App is designed to provide a secure, convenient platform where users can explore, compare, and connect with potential financial offers that may fit their needs. Through the App, you can:

  • Submit a brief request that may include personal, employment, and banking details.
  • Be matched with participating financial institutions and service providers that may present offers tailored to your profile.

The App streamlines the process by allowing you to enter your information once, and then securely sharing it with participating institutions that operate in accordance with applicable laws and licensing requirements.

You will have the chance to review potential loan or cash advance terms before deciding whether to proceed. Any loan agreement, funding, repayment plan, or other credit arrangement is executed directly between you and the lender or financial service provider.

Extra Life:

  • Provides the technology platform
  • Facilitates secure data transmission
  • Offers customer support related to the App

Extra Life does not control, manage, or guarantee the lender's approval decision, your interest rate or APR, the repayment schedule or exact terms, or the lender's own customer service policies. Those matters are determined solely by the lender or financial provider offering the product.

4) Eligibility & Your Responsibilities

To create and maintain an account on the App, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your state).
  • You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • You have a valid Social Security number or other identification required by law.
  • You maintain an active checking account in your name.
  • You have a verifiable source of income.
  • The information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
  • You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, misuse, or any security issue with your account, you should contact us right away at support@brickofmoney.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that appears to violate these Terms, applicable laws, or that we reasonably believe is involved in fraud, abuse, or other prohibited activity.

5) Electronic Communications & Your Consent

By using the App, you agree to receive electronic communications from us and, where applicable, from our partners. These communications may include emails, text messages (SMS), in-app notifications, and electronic documents and disclosures.

You understand and agree that electronic records and signatures carry the same legal effect as paper documents and handwritten signatures.

You may withdraw your consent to receive electronic communications by contacting us at support@brickofmoney.com. However, if you withdraw consent, you may be unable to use certain features of the App or complete future transactions.

Even if you withdraw consent for certain messages, we may still send communications that are legally required (for example, important updates to these Terms or your account status).

6) Account Creation, Access & Maintenance

Some features of the App require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to provide true, accurate, and verifiable information (such as your name, contact details, and bank information) and keep your information updated if anything changes.

You must not share your login credentials with others, use another person's identity or account, or misrepresent any information during registration or use.

We may take steps to verify your identity at any time. If we suspect fraudulent or unauthorized use, we may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the App.

7) Data Accuracy & Authorization

By submitting information through the App, you authorize Extra Life to collect and process your information, transmit your information to participating financial institutions and service providers, and use third-party tools and service providers to verify your identity, income, and bank account ownership.

You represent and warrant that all information you provide is truthful, current, and complete. Submitting false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in denial of your request, suspension or termination of your account, or possible legal action, in accordance with applicable law.

8) Fees, Payments & Our Compensation

Extra Life does not charge you a direct fee to download or use the App as a consumer. The App is free to use for users seeking offers.

However, Extra Life may receive a referral fee, marketing fee, or other compensation from a lender or financial partner if you are connected with them through the App, and/or take out a loan, cash advance, or another product or service through that partner.

Any compensation we receive does not change the terms of the offer you receive from the lender. Our partners must comply with all applicable lending and consumer-protection laws, and our compensation arrangements do not override those obligations.

9) Permitted Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the App only in ways that comply with these Terms and with all applicable laws. You may not:

  • Use the App in any way that violates federal, state, or local law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, data, or networks related to the App
  • Use robots, scrapers, or other automated tools to extract or collect data from the App
  • Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of the App
  • Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App or its content without our written permission
  • Use the App to send unsolicited messages, advertising, or spam

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your account and may expose you to civil or criminal liability.

10) Service Changes & Availability

We are constantly working to improve the App. As a result, Extra Life may, at any time and without prior notice, add, change, or remove features or functionality; temporarily or permanently suspend all or part of the App; or perform maintenance or updates that may affect availability.

We are not responsible for any loss, inconvenience, or damages you may experience due to service interruptions, scheduled or unscheduled downtime, or changes to the App.

11) Intellectual Property

All content and technology associated with the App—including but not limited to text and copy, logos and branding, graphics and images, software, code, and design, and data compilations and other materials—are owned by Extra Life LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for your personal, lawful use in accordance with these Terms. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of the App or its content is strictly prohibited.

12) Disclaimers

The App and all related information, tools, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Extra Life makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the App's content or features and does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the App.

We expressly disclaim any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties that may arise from course of dealing or usage of trade.

You use the App at your own risk.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Extra Life LLC, along with its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or in any way related to your access to or use of the App, your inability to access or use the App, or any conduct or content of any third party, even if we have been advised that such damages may occur.

To the extent any liability is found despite the above, the total cumulative liability of Extra Life to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to your use of the App will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Some states do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Extra Life LLC and its officers, employees, affiliates, partners, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise out of or relate to your use or misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law or regulation, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

15) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved through individual binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, rather than in court, except as otherwise provided by law.

You agree that class actions and representative proceedings are not permitted. You may bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as a class member or representative.

If, for any reason, arbitration is not available or enforceable, then any such dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

16) Termination

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate your access to the App, including your account, if we believe that you have violated these Terms or any applicable law, or your use of the App is harmful to us, our partners, or other users.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device and, if applicable, closing your account.

Any sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including, but not limited to, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply even after your access ends.

17) Changes to These Terms

Extra Life may update or modify these Terms from time to time. When we do so, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.

For material changes, we may also provide additional notice, such as posting an in-app notification or sending an email to the address associated with your account.

Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the App.
